Zayo Group Appoints Jeffrey Noto as Chief Financial Officer

30-year Verizon veteran joins Zayo Group as the company continues to drive significant growth and network investment 

Zayo Group Holdings, a leading global communications infrastructure platform, introduced experienced telecommunications financial executive Jeffrey Noto as its new chief financial officer. In this role, Noto will oversee Zayo’s global finance organization—including accounting, operational finance, financial planning and analysis, tax, investor relations, billing, financial reporting, internal audit, and treasury—which will be a critical function as Zayo continues to drive growth across the organization and its global network assets.

Noto brings more than 35 years of finance experience across financial management, analysis and reporting, and building and defining financial infrastructure and internal controls. Noto joins Zayo from Verizon, where he most recently served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for the Global Network and Technology (GN&T) and the Verizon Global Services (VGS) organization. In this role, he was responsible for all budgeting, planning, reporting, and commercial and capital activities for the Network, IT, and centralized services organization.

Noto also served in several other executive leadership roles during his tenure at Verizon, including SVP and CFO for Consumer and Mass Business organization; SVP & CFO for Global Media & Telematics; and SVP for the Business Analytics Center of Excellence and Finance Transformation.

The appointment of Noto as chief financial officer follows a transformative year for Zayo. In 2022, the company executed its largest organic network expansion to date. Zayo also strengthened its solution capabilities with the completion of two strategic acquisitions of Education Networks of America (ENA) and QOS Networks, as well as the reintegration of parts of its previously acquired Allstream business.
