Silverneedle Ventures (SNV), an early-stage technology focussed fund announced the hiring of Viiveck Verma as Strategic Advisor & Venture Partner. Viiveck joins Silverneedle after 6 months of the launch of the fund. Viiveck comes with over three decades of sectoral and cross-functional work experience. He is also a Founder and CEO of Upsurge Global. Viiveck is a specialist in corporate strategy and has experience in creating more than 10 notable intrapreneurial corporate ventures. Silverneedle Ventures was launched last year in October with a fund size of INR 100 Crore. They aim to invest in Pre Series A/ Series A round of early-stage startups focused on B2B SaaS, D2C/Consumer Internet, Sustainability, Fintech, Deep tech, Generative AI and some others. The fund has made some interesting investments to date in Disprz, Knorish, Samaaro, ThingsUp, and Doqfy.
