Alacriti and Glia Partner to Strengthen Financial Institutions’ Digital Customer Service for Payments

VIP enables Alacriti to integrate with Episys

Alacriti, a fintech company specializing in payments, announced that it has joined the Symitar Vendor Integration Program (VIP). Participation in the program will provide Alacriti with access to Symitar’s technical resources to enable its electronic bill presentment and payments solution, Orbipay EBPP, to integrate with Episys. The Vendor Integration Program is designed to help ensure that Symitar’s customers can easily deploy third-party products. Episys is the core platform used by approximately 750 diverse credit unions.

Credit unions leveraging this integration will give their members access to comprehensive and easy-to-use self-service payment options, plus the ability to accept phone payments from within Episys.

Alacriti’s Orbipay EBPP solution integrates with Episys via SymXchange™, a services-based programming interface that enables third-party vendors and credit unions to access the platform’s core data and business rules. The integrity of data is maintained throughout any data exchange, because access to business rules and data is managed through a service layer that governs these interactions.

Orbipay EBPP’s cloud-based billing and payments technology enables credit unions to deliver superior member experiences, accelerate cash flow, and reduce costs. Orbipay gives credit union members access to the comprehensive payment channels (mobile, web, IVR, agent, walk-in, and AI chatbot), payment methods (ACH and card payments), and payment options (one-time, recurring, and autopay) they demand. Alacriti’s inclusion in the VIP will make it easier for Symitar’s credit union community to seamlessly accept payments across various channels and update member data in real-time.

“Delivering superior member experiences and satisfaction is top of mind for every credit union,” said Stuart Bain, Senior Vice President of Alacriti. “Credit unions leveraging this integration will give their members access to comprehensive and easy-to-use self-service payment options, plus the ability to accept phone payments from within Episys. In addition, payments data will post in real-time into Episys, creating even more value for credit unions.”
