Computer Services, a provider of end-to-end fintech and regtech solutions, has named Charmaine Smith the company’s new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, she stewards CSI’s “Best Place to Work” culture, while strategically aligning CSI’s human resources department to business needs and providing an outstanding employee experience for the company’s 1,200+ employees.

Charmaine Smith Joins @CSIsolutions as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Prior to joining CSI, Charmaine was the vice president of human resources at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. She has worked in the tech industry for more than 23 years, completing over 280 mergers and acquisitions during her career and building the largest fabrication (also known as fab or foundry) plant at its time. Charmaine is also a member of the Forbes Human Resources Council, an invitation-only organization for HR executives across all industries in North America. As part of the council, Charmaine provides commentary on a wide range of HR topics and contributes thought leadership to Forbes’ online publications. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University.
