FinTech Leaders Financial Finesse and SecureSave Announce Partnership Empowering Vulnerable Employees to Achieve Financial Security

New offering seamlessly connects best-in-class financial coaching and emergency savings benefits to rapidly reduce financial stress and increase financial resiliency among employees everywhere

Financial Finesse, the largest independent provider of unbiased financial coaching as an employer-paid benefit, and SecureSave, the leading provider of Workplace Emergency Savings Accounts (ESAs), now offer an integrated solution that makes saving money and accessing essential financial coaching simple, while improving employee outcomes.

“We are thrilled to partner with SecureSave, whose mission to help everyone feel and be secure aligns perfectly with our goal of helping as many people as possible achieve lifelong financial wellness,” said Liz Davidson, Founder and CEO of Financial Finesse. “In these uncertain times, many American workers are more financially stressed and vulnerable than ever. Our top priority is helping struggling employees quickly achieve financial security. Over 70% of our users receive an action step related to emergency savings, and by integrating SecureSave’s ESA benefit into our holistic coaching experience, we can get them saving and on the path to security even faster.”

The integrated solution, which launched with a Fortune 500 healthcare company in December, powers employer emergency savings initiatives with:

  • A SecureSave page within Financial Finesse’s employee Financial Wellness Hub, enabling users to seamlessly sign up for an ESA and view their savings progress in real time.
  • Direct access to Financial Finesse, including 1×1 financial coaching, within SecureSave to provide support at key decision points, such as when savers access their ESA funds.
  • Joint communications to drive program awareness and engagement.
  • The ability for employers to offer incentives, so employees can earn ESA contributions as a reward for taking specific actions to improve their overall financial wellness.

In just over three months, employees using the integrated solution saved more and progressed faster:

  • Tangible savings: Users achieved 28% higher ESA balances and had higher average savings per paycheck with the joint Financial Finesse/SecureSave solution vs. SecureSave alone.
  • Improved outcomes: Users were 20% more likely to progress from the unstable crisis/struggling phases of financial wellness to the stable planning/optimizing phases with the joint Financial Finesse/SecureSave solution vs. Financial Finesse alone.

The integration has also proven to be effective at reaching demographics with traditionally lower levels of financial security, including women and employees of color.

“We believe the path to long term financial success starts with building and maintaining an emergency fund. It’s an on-ramp for deeper financial wellness engagement,” said Devin Miller, SecureSave Co-Founder and CEO. “Integrating into Financial Finesse’s platform helps us reach more employees who need us. Once we get their emergency fund rolling, we love knowing that Financial Finesse’s live and AI-powered coaching platform is there to offer deeply personalized guidance to help users take their next steps.”
