New CISO brings deep financial services expertise to support company’s continued growth and commitment to AI transformation

Bringing nearly 20 years of cybersecurity leadership experience, Carter will lead Ncontracts’ comprehensive security strategy across both the company’s SaaS platform and corporate infrastructure. He will play a crucial role in Ncontracts’ AI transformation, ensuring security controls and governance for its AI and machine learning capabilities while maintaining the trust of its bank, credit union, and financial service customers.

Carter most recently served as Senior Vice President and CISO at Nielsen, where he led comprehensive security operations during a $16 billion go-private transaction and multiple business portfolio changes. Prior to Nielsen, he held senior product security leadership roles at Xylem Inc., where he built a 45-person global product security organization during the pandemic, and at GE Digital, where he developed security architectures for critical infrastructure. Carter holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering from the University of Virginia.
