Nitrogen Launches Legacy Center to Help Financial Advisors Retain Assets Across Generational Wealth Transfers

Nitrogen’s fifth advisor product targets the $84 trillion generational wealth transfer gap, expanded tax planning tools and Nucleus upgrades also released

Nitrogen, an AI-powered suite of products for financial advisors, launched Legacy Center, a new product designed to help advisors build relationships with their clients’ beneficiaries before a wealth transfer occurs. Announced at Nitrogen’s Spring 2026 Product Launch Event, Nitrogen also added major upgrades to its popular Tax Center and expanded its agentic AI engine Nucleus™’ capabilities.

“Legacy Center creates a Catalyst Moment no other product in this space has made possible: a warm, intentional introduction to the next generation, set up before it’s needed,” said Dan Zitting, Chief Executive Officer at Nitrogen.

Nitrogen surveyed advisors and found that 98% believe the generational wealth transfer will significantly impact their business, yet only 42% say they have a working plan to address it. When clients pass, assets tend to follow existing relationships. Most advisors don’t have one with the next generation, and until now, there hasn’t been a practical way to build one from within their existing workflow.

Legacy Center creates that opening with the addition of Legacy Map and Legacy Key.

Legacy Map generates a visual picture of a client’s full estate, including accounts, trusts, insurance policies, and beneficiaries that are tied to real projected dollar amounts, built from data already in Nitrogen. Advisors go from zero to a complete legacy picture in minutes.

From there, the Legacy Key turns that picture into a formal introduction. It’s an advisor-branded message sent directly to each beneficiary through Nitrogen, a client-approved connection that gives the next generation a clear point of contact and a simple guide for what to do when the time comes. Set up intentionally, while the client is still there to make the introduction.

“The advisors who win the next generation are the ones who thought about them before they had to,” said Dan Zitting, Chief Executive Officer at Nitrogen. “Legacy Center creates a Catalyst Moment no other product in this space has made possible: a warm, intentional introduction to the next generation, set up before it’s needed.”

Legacy Map is available . Legacy Keys begin rolling out in June.

Tax Center gains scenario planning tools

Tax Center, Nitrogen’s fastest-growing product since its launch in late 2025, adds two capabilities that make the tax conversation proactive rather than retrospective. Tax Scenarios prepares advisors to model the tax impact of life events, including filing status changes, income timing, and capital gains shifts in real time, directly within a client’s existing tax profile. The Roth Conversion Calculator uses data already in the system to show conversion costs , long-term savings in retirement, and after-tax inheritance value for beneficiaries. Both produce report elements advisors can pull into client deliverables.

Starting , Tax Center is included in Nitrogen Complete at no additional cost.

Nucleus surpasses 10,000 adopters

Since its February launch, Nucleus™ has surpassed 10,000 advisors. New capabilities in this release include context-aware conversations across client tabs, deeper CRM search, Wealthbox as a native data source, and direct access to Research Center tools for conversational investment analytics.

Legacy Center is available as a standalone add-on or as part of Nitrogen Complete, which bundles all five advisor products and is available for $419 per month for a limited time. All Nucleus and Tax Center updates are available immediately at no additional cost to advisors who have access to them.
