Kiarie comes to Zinnia from a career spanning investment, media, and operational leadership. He began at JPMorgan before moving into investing roles at AEA Investors, Saban Capital Group, and Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF). He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Bloomberg Media and REVOLT Media & TV, where he led both organizations through significant periods of growth, transformation, and scale.

“I am thrilled to welcome Key to Zinnia at a defining moment for this company,” said George Esposito, Chief Executive Officer at Zinnia. “We are core to how the life and annuity industry runs, and strong financial leadership turns momentum into durable results. Key has built that discipline inside high-growth businesses before, and he is the right person to lead it here.”

Kiarie will lead Zinnia’s finance and corporate development organizations, overseeing the company’s financial, planning, and operations strategy, partnering closely with leadership across the company to support execution and scale.

“Zinnia sits at the center of an enormous, fast-changing market and its proprietary technology and customer value proposition is what makes this opportunity real,” said Kiarie. “That combination of a strong platform, a talented team and a clear long-term vision is what drew me here. I look forward to executing on near immediate opportunities, supporting our growth and helping build for what’s next.”

Zinnia plays a central role as the technology infrastructure powering the life and annuity industry. As carriers and distributors modernize their operations and look for more efficient ways to build, sell, and service products, Zinnia continues to enhance the technology, partnerships, and expertise that support the industry’s evolution.
