Alliant Credit Union and Neighborhood Intelligence launch Alliant Journey Home

Developed in collaboration with the Bed Bath & Beyond brand, the savings and homebuying program will be offered through Alliant, Neighborhood Intelligence, and other Alliant partnerships

Alliant Credit Union, one of the nation’s largest credit unions, and Neighborhood Intelligence announced the launch of Journey Home, a savings and homebuying program developed by Alliant in collaboration with Neighborhood Intelligence through its Bed Bath & Beyond brand. Journey Home is designed to help consumers prepare financially, purchase a home, and manage the transition into homeownership.

Journey Home is designed for broad distribution. It will be offered through Alliant, across Neighborhood Intelligence’s home ecosystem, and through other current and future partnerships established by Alliant. Its reach will extend beyond any single company, brand, or customer base.

How Journey Home Works

Journey Home addresses two distinct stages of homeownership. For consumers still preparing to buy, Journey Home Savings provides a structured way to build funds for a down payment while earning a savings rate 16x the national average* and working toward an additional homeownership reward. For consumers ready to buy, Journey Home connects home search, real estate professionals, Alliant financing, closing support, moving resources, home-related services, rewards, and savings.

Journey Home Savings rewards consistent saving. Members who save for at least 18 months and use those funds to purchase a home financed through Alliant Credit Union can receive a match equal to the cumulative interest earned in the account, up to $1,500. The match applies to the interest earned, not the amount deposited, effectively doubling the interest up to the program’s cap.

Together, the savings and ready-to-buy experiences are designed to create a continuous path from aspiration to ownership. A consumer can begin by learning about the process and building a down payment, then use Journey Home to search, finance, close, move, and access services and savings after receiving the keys.

“Journey Home Savings is designed to reward the work that happens before a home purchase,” said Mike Dobbins, President and CEO of Alliant Credit Union. “Members can earn a high savings rate, establish the discipline of contributing consistently, and qualify for an additional reward when they finance their home through Alliant. The program turns preparation into tangible financial value.”

“Buying my first home was a dream come true, and every American should have the opportunity to experience that moment. There is nothing like the first night in a home of one’s own,” said Marcus Lemonis, Executive Chairman and CEO of Neighborhood Intelligence. “Homeownership is one of the foundations of the American Dream, and reaching it requires education, discipline and saving. Our companies want to democratize the entire journey – from preparing to buy through the first night at home and every life event that follows. Understanding the process, doing the work and staying committed represent the kind of meritocracy we want to reward.”

The Journey Home launch follows the companies’ September 15 announcement of a long-term strategic partnership to develop Beyond Credit Union, powered by Alliant. The full credit union is expected to launch in Q1 2027, with additional programs and initiatives to be introduced before then. Journey Home, developed in collaboration with Bed Bath & Beyond, will be featured within the Beyond Credit Union ecosystem while also intended for broader distribution by Alliant.

Within Neighborhood Intelligence, Journey Home will be available across a portfolio led by Bed Bath & Beyond and including The Container Store, Overstock, buybuy BABY and Kirkland’s, as well as the company’s expanding Home Services and Home Ownership businesses.
