New term loans and starter offers help partners support a broader range of merchants, from newer businesses to established companies seeking larger, more predictable funding
NMI®, a global leader in embedded payments infrastructure, announced the expansion of NMI Business Capital with new term loans and starter offers, giving ISOs, software companies and SaaS platforms more ways to help their merchants access business financing.

The expansion reflects NMI’s focus on helping small businesses get the funding they need to be successful. For many merchants, that need comes at a very specific moment: stock needs to be ordered ahead of a busy season, equipment needs replacing, an unexpected expense hits cash flow, or an opportunity arises to hire, expand or invest in growth. Accessing financing through traditional channels can mean a separate application process, lengthy approval times and uncertainty over whether funding will be available when it is actually needed. Business Capital gives eligible merchants a simpler way to access financing through the platforms they already use to run their business.
The new financing options extend that support to a broader range of businesses. Term loans are designed for more established merchants that may need larger amounts of capital and prefer predictable monthly repayments. Starter offers provide a route to funding for newer businesses, including merchants with limited credit history. The financing available to each eligible merchant is determined through the underwriting process based on their business. Demand for Business Capital has continued to grow since launch. Nearly 90% of merchants* who repaid their loan and remained eligible have gone on to take additional funding, showing continued demand from businesses that have already used the service.
For NMI partners, Business Capital provides a way to offer merchant financing without having to build and manage their own lending program or take on underwriting, servicing or compliance responsibilities. It also gives partners another way to support their merchants, strengthen relationships and generate incremental revenue.
