International AI management standard reinforces Conquest’s existing security, privacy and governance framework

Conquest, a global fintech company delivering a verifiable AI financial advice engine for continuous advice at scale, announced it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification, the international standard for AI management systems. The certification provides independent validation of the governance practices behind Conquest’s approach to AI as financial institutions look to expand its use without sacrificing rigor or human judgment.

ISO/IEC 42001 sets requirements for how organizations establish, maintain and continually improve systems for managing AI, including risk management, transparency, data governance, accountability and human oversight.

As AI becomes more deeply embedded in financial services, institutions need clear controls for how the technology is developed, deployed and monitored. This is especially important in financial advice, where firms need auditable processes for understanding how technology contributes to the guidance investors receive while remaining in compliance. Conquest has long focused its approach to building and deploying AI on verifiability and auditability, giving advisors and financial institutions the ability to understand and explain the reasoning behind financial recommendations rather than rely on black-box outputs.

“AI should multiply financial expertise, giving advisors the ability to explore more possibilities and deliver better guidance to more people,” said Brad Joudrie, CEO of Conquest. “If financial institutions are going to use AI at scale, they need confidence in both the recommendations it produces and the way the technology is governed. ISO 42001 certification validates the rigor we bring to building AI that institutions can understand, verify and use responsibly.”

Conquest’s verifiable AI engine, Strategic Advice Manager® (SAM), combines deterministic reasoning with AI-enabled capabilities to help financial institutions deliver personalized financial guidance at scale. Recommendations are designed to be verifiable, explainable and auditable, enabling institutions to confidently incorporate AI into advice workflows while preserving advisor judgment and supporting compliance requirements.

ISO/IEC 42001 is the latest addition to Conquest’s broader approach to security, privacy and governance. Conquest also maintains SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and certifications including ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019. The company continuously tests against WCAG 2.1 AA standards and encrypts data in transit and at rest.

The certification further supports Conquest’s approach to pairing AI innovation with the security, transparency and governance financial institutions require as they expand the use of AI across financial advice.
