New capability lets enterprises connect the corporate cards they already issue to Medius Expense for automated expense creation, reconciliation, and real-time visibility
Medius, a leading provider of accounts payable automation and spend management solutions, announced the launch of Bring Your Own Card functionality in Medius Expense, developed in partnership with Astrada. The capability enables businesses to connect existing corporate card portfolios to Medius Expense, allowing transactions to flow automatically into the platform and become expenses without requiring customers to switch banks or card issuers.
For larger businesses, accessing card-led expense automation has often meant moving to cards issued by a spend management provider. Bring Your Own Card removes this barrier by connecting existing corporate banking infrastructure with Medius Expense automated expense workflow, helping organizations retain established card programs, terms, and controls while improving visibility and reducing manual reconciliation.

Connecting existing cards to automated expense management
Bring Your Own Card supports eligible corporate card programs where administrators work with the issuing bank once to connect the portfolio, with new cards added automatically as they are issued.
Once connected, transactions flow automatically into Medius Expense, helping finance teams create expenses faster and reduce receipt chasing and reconciliation. Bring Your Own Card works across major card networks and issuers, so customers can keep their existing banking relationships while gaining real-time transaction visibility in Medius Expense.
Bring Your Own Card forms part of Medius’ wider strategy to unify AP automation, payments, and expense management in one connected spend management platform. It will be available to net-new Medius Expense customers at launch, alongside a support-assisted migration cohort for priority existing customers currently using bank file imports.
