Kneip Appoints Refinitiv's Jacob Koopmans as Chief Commercial Officer

Kneip, the global leader in fund data management, is announcing today that it has appointed Jacob Koopmans as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer.

With 20 years’ industry experience, Koopmans joins Kneip from Refinitiv, a global provider of financial market data and infrastructure, where he led the sales functions across the EMEA region and executed on Refinitiv’s strategy. Prior to this, he led the UK account management function for Thomson Reuters, a worldwide economic and financial market data provider. Throughout his career, Jacob has developed a successful track record of delivering accelerated revenue in multiple geographies by transforming organisational structures, sales strategies, and talent development programmes. Jacob is a graduate of the University of Groningen with a master’s degree in international business.

Based in Kneip’s London office, Koopmans will lead Kneip’s global product and sales teams to accelerate product development and build closer relationships with clients and partners as the company looks to further expand its worldwide offering. He joins Kneip as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to CEO, Enrique Sacau.
