The integration allows payments to be initiated using the CrossLink Online portal, and for all transaction information to seamlessly flow into client records. This eliminates double-entry keying errors, reduces paper-based systems, and speeds end-of-day close. Card details can be securely associated with client records for future payments, further streamlining processes so staff has more time to focus on tax preparation.
The integration of CrossLink Online and PayJunction streamlines payments:
- In-office payments are processed using PayJunction’s customer-facing, cloud-connected ZeroTouch Terminal. The amount due is automatically sent from CrossLink Online and displayed on the terminal’s large screen. Customers pay via a simple swipe, insert or the tap of their contactless card, phone or wearable.
- Payment history is paired with clients’ tax returns and digital receipts are securely stored in CrossLink Online, eliminating the time and hassles associated with paper storage and retrieval. Preparers can quickly retrieve transactions and email receipts to clients in just a few clicks.
- Tax preparers can also email customers a request for payment by inviting them to visit their website and click a “Pay Now” button where they enter card details into a secure, hosted form.
