BHMI’s Lynne Baldwin Wins Women in Payments “Distinguished Payments Professional” Award

BHMI co-founder and president honored for her significant achievements and contributions in the payments industry

BHMI, a leading provider of enterprise software applications and creator of the Concourse Financial Software Suite®, announced company co-founder and President, Dr. Lynne Baldwin, was named the winner of the Women in Payments 2021 “Distinguished Payments Professional” award. This annual awards program celebrates women making significant impacts in the global payments ecosystem, honoring their achievements, and recognizing those who have distinguished themselves as industry leaders and innovators.

The 2021 U.S. awards were presented as part of this year’s virtual Women in Payments Symposium. The lifetime achievement award of “Distinguished Payments Professional” recognizes Dr. Baldwin’s significant contributions to the payments space, acknowledging her role as a trendsetter, role model, and positive impact on the overall industry.

A former educator with over 40 years in the payments software industry, Dr. Baldwin has worked in numerous development and executive leadership roles throughout her career, creating innovative payment solutions. Since co-founding BHMI, she has guided its success through her knowledge, creativity, and positive approach to industry solutions. Lynne spearheaded BHMI’s development of its Concourse Financial Software Suite, modernizing back office processing to operate in real-time.

As an active leader in her community, Dr. Baldwin also serves as an advisor for local education institutions, mentors women in the payments and technology industries, and has grown BHMI’s student internship program to help inspire the next generation of software and payments professionals.
