Comviva’s BlueMarble, now ready to run on IBM Cloud for Telecommunications, enables communications service providers to modernize their business platforms without having to go through large, complex transformation cycles. The solution offers a complete digital customer lifecycle from discovery, shopping, ordering, and billing to payment and servicing, and is designed to deliver a digital platform with instantly configurable microservices and flexible user interface components to transform customer experiences across across multiple channels, and a scalable and agile market solution for communications service providers to monetize infrastructure and accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.

This collaboration is consistent with the NXT.NOW -Charter of Comviva’s parent company, Tech Mahindra, which focuses on investing in new technologies and solutions that enable digital transformation and evolving needs in the 5G era. Tech Mahindra is part of IBM’s partner ecosystem, working on the IBM Cloud for Telecommunications to help network equipment providers, independent software vendors (ISVs), software-as-a-service providers and hardware partners accelerate business transformation by the power of 5G and Edge is used. IBM Cloud for Telecommunications is designed to integrate advanced AI and automation processes at the edge, accelerating service delivery while lowering total costs.

The collaboration will enable Tech Mahindra and IBM to establish standards-based integration of new telco solutions with customers’ existing systems using TM Forum APIs enabled on IBM Cloud for Telecommunications. Comviva’s BlueMarble solution implements these APIs to enable agile customization and meet specific customer requirements, e.g. B. the integration of solutions from IBM and its partner ecosystem. In addition, the BlueMarble solution integrates with IBM’s Sterling Order Management to provide customers with a choice of billing solutions.
