Chris Clemens and Sarah Bilyeu have joined KCD PR, bringing with them a wealth of public relations expertise in the financial services, fintech and tech industries. In the vice president roles, Mr. Clemens and Ms. Bilyeu are an integral part of the leadership team and responsible for creating and implementing communications campaigns to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with key audiences to advance brand identity and drive consumer adoption of client products and services.

Mr. Clemens joins KCD PR with over 20 years of experience in the financial services and technology industries. He came to KCD PR after more than a decade at a financial services-focused strategic communications and public relations agency that he helped build from a two-person startup to an established national firm. Prior to that, Mr. Clemens spent nine years in the investment banking and mergers and acquisitions space, with a primary focus on executing strategic transactions for technology and telecom companies. During the span of his PR career, he’s represented leading firms such as Oppenheimer & Co., Advisor Group, Cetera Financial Group and the Financial Services Institute, among many others, with a focus on creating value for clients through high-impact messaging and media strategies that tell their stories to key audiences. Mr. Clemens holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Yale University.

Ms. Bilyeu joins the agency with nearly 20 years of experience in developing effective communications campaigns to raise brand awareness, drive sales and garner positive engagement among key audiences. Most recently, Ms. Bilyeu served nearly nine years as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations at San Diego County Credit Union, one of the nation’s top credit unions, where she elevated awareness and engagement in many PR, marketing and community initiatives to help grow the credit union to more than $10 billion in assets. Ms. Bilyeu was named IABC-San Diego’s 2021 Communicator of the Year and recognized by San Diego Metro Magazine with a 40 Under 40 award in 2017, among many accolades for her work. Ms. Bilyeu holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Political Science from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Ashford University.
