SpendConsole Opens Dubai Office Amid Surging Demand for AI-Driven, AP Automation Solutions

SpendConsole expands operations to the Middle East, opening a new office in Dubai to meet the surging demand for enterprise AI-driven AP automation

SpendConsole, Australia’s leader in enterprise AI-powered Accounts Payable (AP) automation, today announces its expansion into the Middle East, with a new office in Dubai. This strategic move comes after signing a major tea company in the region as demand for AI-driven AP automation surges in the region.

Due to increasing government initiatives and regulations mandating the use of e-invoicing along with the rise of cyber threats and fraud, the global e-invoicing market is set to reach AU$71.57 billion by 2030, according to a recent report. The UAE (United Arab Emirates), for one, is rolling out a two-phase e-invoicing mandate, with the first to roll out in July 2025.

Recognising the success of e-invoice exchange and the fully-digitised public procurement platform (DPP) at the national level, including initiatives led by Dubai authorities to achieve a paperless government in 2021, the move towards mandatory B2B e-invoicing aligns seamlessly with the region’s commitment to comprehensive digital transformation.

With SpendConsole now having a strong foothold in Dubai, local businesses can tap into the team’s expertise, moving to e-invoicing that is compliant with regional regulatory standards. Abid Ali, CEO and Founder of SpendConsole, expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s expansion into the Middle East, stating, “We are thrilled to bring SpendConsole’s unparalleled expertise to the vibrant and dynamic market of the Middle East. As businesses in the region gear up for the e-invoicing mandate, our establishment in Dubai signifies not only our commitment but also our readiness to be at the forefront of this transformative journey.

“We believe the integration of our advanced enterprise AI solutions will not only streamline financial processes but also catalyse overall operational excellence for our customers in the region, providing a foundation for sustained growth and success.”

A Certified PEPPOL Access Point and accredited by SAP®, Microsoft®, the ATO and New Zealand Taxation office, SpendConsole is at the forefront of ensuring seamless integration and compliance within diverse regulatory environments. Leading enterprises and institutions across Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East, including Federal and State Government clients such as Intellectual Property Australia, TAFE New South Wales and PRAAS Limited trust SpendConsole to help them to unlock the full potential of their AP and Finance teams.
