“Jon has been a valued member of our Board since 1998, the year the Bank was founded, and we are grateful for his years of dedicated service and thoughtful counsel,” said Leon Blankstein, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), President and Director of ABB. “His experience as a business leader and investor has contributed meaningfully to the Bank’s long-term growth and commitment to serving the business community.”
“Jon’s acumen and accomplishments are dwarfed by only one thing – his heart for others. As a Director, he provides guidance with warmth and genuine care and concern,” commented Leon Blankstein, CEO.
Celebrating Jon’s legacy we honor ABB’s Service Professionals of the Year annually, which underscores our ideal of putting others first. The recipients of The Jon Schlobohm Award embody, and practice daily; a servant attitude, genuine care for our clients and employees, and a desire to serve others above themselves. These recipients exemplify our aim to answer the call to care, whatever that may be, whenever it may come.
Mr. Schlobohm retired in 2007 as President of National Corset Supply and now resides in Santa Barbara.
