Exec to Build on Explosive Growth in Payer Adoption of Source
HealthEdge Software, provider of the industry’s leading next-gen integrated solution suite for health insurers, said today that Amlan Dasgupta has joined the company as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Development for the Source product division. Source is the first solution to natively bring together claim payment automation with business intelligence to enable better payer-provider relationships, reduced waste and improved financial performance for health plans.

Dasgupta joins from Epic, where he spent nearly 19 years in positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he led the API platform product division, directing multiple product engineering teams tasked with building a connected ecosystem of applications across several healthcare enterprises. He also managed the App Orchard developer program, enabling partners to build innovative and integrated solutions on top of Epic’s API platform.

Dasgupta will support the explosive growth in adoption of the payment integrity platform by national and regional payers. He will focus on supporting product and architecture teams in their development of a highly scalable, open and performance-driven platform that enables comprehensive and fast claims payment for client health plans.
Dasgupta holds a master’s degree in Aerospace & Ocean Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology.
