Entrust enables the RaiPay Austria app to deliver seamless and secure contactless payments for all Android phones
Entrust, a leading provider of trusted identities, payments, and data, announced that Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) and its processing center RPC have expanded their digital card services to the Austrian market with the launch of RaiPay, powered by the Entrust Digital Card Solution.

Consumers expect their banks to enable easy, intuitive and secure digital payment experiences. As one of the largest universal banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), RBI has launched their RaiPay mobile application in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania. With the expansion of RaiPay to Austria, Android device users can now instantly digitize their bank cards for contactless payments.

Entrust has been a trusted partner of RPC since the launch of the RaiPay payment app. The Entrust Digital Card Solution allows RPC to create a unified, intuitive user experience across devices, geographies and merchants, enabling an NFC payment from the payment app, and enables card tokenization. Additionally, this partnership offers enhanced card features to the user, including secure input and PSD2 compliant strong customer authentication.
