In this newly created role, Aguero will be a key member of the KlariVis leadership team, responsible for evaluating and driving strategic growth opportunities, expanding into new markets, and supporting high-value sales and partner engagements as KlariVis accelerates its mission to transform how financial institutions leverage their data.

“Throughout my banking career, I’ve seen firsthand how institutions struggle to turn their data into a strategic advantage,” said Aguero. “I’ve watched KlariVis crack the code on this challenge, and to join their team at this pivotal moment of growth for them is an honor. The opportunity to guide expansion into new markets with such a transformative solution is exactly the kind of work that energizes me.”

Aguero brings more than 15 years of executive-level banking experience, most recently serving as Chief Banking Officer at Freedom First, where he led all revenue-producing business units including commercial, mortgage, retail, business, and private banking, as well as marketing and product development. Under his leadership, the institution achieved a 75% increase in balance sheet size, launched successful Private Banking and Wealth Management divisions, and significantly expanded commercial and deposit portfolios.

“Shon brings a rare combination of deep industry expertise, proven growth leadership, and an ability to turn strategic vision into measurable results,” said Kim Snyder, CEO & Founder of KlariVis. “His track record in driving market expansion, building high-performing teams, and forging strategic partnerships aligns perfectly with KlariVis’ next phase of growth. I’m thrilled to welcome him as our EVP, Corporate Development, and I’m confident his leadership will accelerate our impact across the industry.”

A recognized industry speaker and educator, Aguero has presented for organizations including the Missouri Bankers Association, American Bankers Association, Financial Brand Forum, American Banker, and Future Branches Conference. He is a graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU and holds an MBA in Finance from Walden University.

Aguero joins KlariVis during a period of rapid expansion, as the company was recently named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies for the second consecutive year and continues building its national sales presence.
