Savings Bank of Mendocino County Announces Appointment of New Board Member Jim Mayfield

Savings Bank of Mendocino County is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Mayfield to its Board of Directors, effective following a unanimous vote at the November 2025 board meeting.

Mayfield is a longtime Mendocino County business leader, entrepreneur and executive coach. His family has called Mendocino County home for three generations, and he has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to supporting rural communities across the region. As the former president and CEO of Rainbow Agricultural Services, which he founded in 1983, Mayfield spent more than four decades building his company into a respected multi-location retail operation serving customers throughout Mendocino County and beyond.

He brings extensive knowledge in business development, governance and nonprofit leadership to the Savings Bank Board. His professional background and community involvement have earned him notable recognition, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Greater Ukiah Business and Tourism Alliance and the Sam Walton Business Leader Award for Mendocino County.
