WiseAlpha, the UK’s leading digital bond market platform, is excited to announce that they are joining forces with the Master Investor Show 2020. The Master Investor Show is the UK’s leading event for private investors, and attracts over 5,000 attendees each year. For the first time ever, WiseAlpha will host a stage and exhibition area which will be dedicated to the future of finance – FintechWise.

This one of a kind event comes at an incredible time for the fintech industry. The UK fintech scene emerged out of the ashes of the financial crisis, and has seen the evolution of one of the most vibrant fintech ecosystems in the world. In the UK alone, there are over 1,600 Fintech firms with over 76,500 people employed in the sector. It is estimated this will more than double by 2030.

The UK also boasts the highest consumer adoption rate in the West, with over half of UK consumers using fintech in some capacity. In 2019, fintech rose to the top of the financial agenda as venture capital investment in the UK continued to grow substantially. This has led to the UK being dubbed the fintech capital of Europe.

FintechWise is one of the only B2C fintech conferences in the UK, allowing consumers to talk directly to the companies innovating financial services to create better, faster and more rewarding products for financial consumers and investors. This momentous event will be a meeting place for companies who want to empower people to make informed financial decisions through an innovative array of products from banking, investing, insurance and more.

WiseAlpha is on a mission to educate the masses about the corporate bond market and FintechWise follows the launch of their CPD accredited bond academy.

The agenda will range from, how technology is democratising financial services, how challenger banks are redefining banking, the Open Data revolution, to how pension providers are harnessing new systems to help people improve retirement planning. WiseAlpha will also be delving into some of the major questions and issues facing the industry today, such as what are the next undiscovered opportunities in Fintech? And what needs to be known to invest in startups through equity crowdfunding?
