LEX has seen significant investor demand. The platform opened its doors to its over 10,000 waitlisted investors in November 2021. Today, any U.S. investor is able to sign up for a new brokerage account on LEX and start investing in real estate. LEX has overseen two building IPOs, with many more properties in the pipeline.
“This new capital is important for our users, real estate partners, and our team at LEX,” said Jesse Daugherty, LEX Co-Founder and Co-CEO. “The funding will let us grow our engineering, marketing, sales, and real estate teams, to improve our product and bring bigger real estate deals to market faster.”
LEX plans to deploy its Series A capital to scale its activities with property owners and investors by adding new properties to its proprietary platform and marketplace. In this way LEX will expand investment opportunities in its first-of-its kind market for individual real estate investing.
