Manchester based software company rebrands and unveils new Visual Commerce platform for home interiors brands and retailers
DigitalBridge announced it has rebranded as Fixtuur. The announcement is coupled with the unveiling of their new Visual Commerce platform aimed at ecommerce brands and retailers in the home interiors sector.
Fixtuur brings static product pages to life by allowing online shoppers to lift the product off the page and into their home through 3D, Augmented Reality and space visualisation. With the Fixtuur widget installed on the website, shoppers can explore, visualise, play around with and plan their home interior projects. Users can explore all product configurations such as different hardware, colours and materials and see their customised product in their own space. This provides a thrilling consumer experience and gives them the confidence to buy exactly what they are looking for without the usual uncertainties of whether they will like it when it arrives and whether it will fit their space.

The rebrand and product launch has been led by CEO David Thomson, appointed in early 2021. “We’re immensely proud to be taking to market our platform that elevates the consumer’s shopping experience beyond the high expectations of shoppers today. With Fixtuur, our clients are able to educate, inspire and give their customers the confidence to buy through Visual Commerce.”
Of the new company branding, COO James Lewis says “Our business has evolved vastly over the last couple of years and our brand needed updating to reflect who we are today. Fixtuur’s new look and feel encapsulates our company culture and links to how our software helps retailers, brands and consumers.”
“The new iconography has tripartite meaning. It represents our company as agile and in motion, while demonstrating that we are in the business of helping our clients to transform and deliver enhanced customer experiences. In addition, it nods to how our client’s customers use Fixtuur in the creative process of planning rooms and fitting shapes together to build the bigger picture.” says designer Ashley Fenlon.

The Fixtuur Visual Commerce platform lets retailers and brands add these key features directly into their website’s product pages:
-
Product Configuration allows online shoppers to fully explore all product options in real-time 3D, for example the colour, material and size, and view it in their own home using Augmented Reality.
-
Space Design allows online shoppers to design a new layout of their room or outdoor space with multiple products, so that they can visualise how a more complex interior design project will look in 3D and Augmented Reality.
-
All of this functionality is available within ecommerce product pages via a widget, which tightly integrates the experience into the website without the need for visitors to navigate to a separate page or subdomain.
Fixtuur’s client, Moda Furnishings are seeing impressive results. “We are already seeing high levels of engagement since we launched Fixtuur on our site recently. We’re excited to expand further across our full product range.” says Chris Gillespie, Head of IT.
