BRG Adds Legal Executive Vijay Bondada to Drive Strategic Growth in Disputes & Investigations Practice

Former chief litigation officer brings two decades of enterprise risk management expertise and proven track record in securing multibillion-dollar resolutions

Global consulting and expert services firm BRG announced the addition of Vijay Bondada as a managing director and associate general counsel in the firm’s Business Development group, based in New York. He brings over 20 years of senior legal leadership experience, having directed large legal teams and advised boards and executive leadership on enterprise litigation, compliance and regulatory risks at major corporations including Consolidated Edison, Duke Energy and Pfizer.

Throughout his distinguished career, Bondada has negotiated and delivered resolutions at the national level, helping secure multibillion-dollar settlements, project approvals and hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance recoveries for corporate clients facing environmental, directors and officers (D&O) and other business interruption risks. His expertise spans complex litigation management, regulatory compliance and crisis resolution across the healthcare, energy and financial services sectors.

Most recently serving as vice president of Energy & Environmental Law at Consolidated Edison, Bondada previously held the roles of chief litigation officer at Duke Energy Corporation and vice president and assistant general counsel at Pfizer. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and litigation strategy positions him to deliver immediate value to BRG clients navigating increasingly complex business disputes and investigations.

“Vijay brings the kind of senior-level experience and strategic thinking that our clients need in today’s complex regulatory environment,” said Ray Kolls, a managing director and global co-leader of BRG’s Economics, Disputes & Investigations business line. “His ability to navigate multibillion-dollar disputes while maintaining focus on business continuity makes him ideally suited for our business development efforts. The relationships he’s built across energy, healthcare and financial services, combined with his deep understanding of what corporate leaders need from their advisory partners, will immediately enhance our ability to connect with clients who value both technical expertise and strategic guidance.”

Beyond his corporate leadership roles, Bondada demonstrates a strong commitment to professional development and community service. He chairs the board of a national nonprofit focused on legal advocacy for the South Asian American community and is a cofounder of the South Asian Bar Association of North America. He holds a JD from Temple University and is certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors.

“BRG’s multidisciplinary approach, combining economic analysis with legal expertise, creates unprecedented opportunities to deliver comprehensive solutions,” said Bondada. “My role in business development will focus on building strategic relationships with corporate leaders who need partners capable of transforming complex disputes into opportunities for organizational resilience and growth.”

Bondada’s addition comes as BRG continues to strengthen its business development capabilities and expand its disputes and investigations practice to meet growing client demand for integrated advisory services that address both legal and business challenges in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
