Pharmavite Announces $425 Million Acquisition of Bonafide Health to Become Leader in Women’s Health the leading nutrition powered wellness company and makers of Nature Made® vitamins, announces its acquisition of Bonafide Health, the women’s health company creating a new standard in managing the journey of menopause. This is the continuation of Pharmavite’s ongoing commitment to bring the gift of health to life for all – including historically underserved categories. Through the acquisition of Bonafide Health, Pharmavite is expanding and complementing its existing women’s health business comprised of Uqora, a cutting-edge urinary tract health brand, and Equelle, the only supplement with S-equol that is clinically shown to naturally address the root cause of symptoms related to estrogen decline.

Bonafide Health was founded in 2017 to create a new class of over-the-counter women’s health products – scientifically formulated, nature inspired products with clinical evidence and doctor support. Powered by intellectual property and backed by clinical trials and endorsements from healthcare professionals, Bonafide Health’s six core products – under the names Revaree, Relizen, Ristela, Clairvee, Serenol™ and The Silvessa® System – focus on delivering long-term, sustainable support for needs that compound with age, including hot flashes, vaginal dryness, vaginal microbiome, sexual satisfaction, and more.

Bonafide will continue to operate out of its current headquarters in Harrison, NY and there are no workforce implications to the acquisition. Other commercial terms of the deal are not being disclosed. Pharmavite was advised by Houlihan Lokey. William Hood & Company served as lead financial advisor and EVOLUTION Life Science Partners served as co-advisor to Bonafide Health in the transaction.

In addition to its Women’s Health Businesses, Pharmavite is also the owner of the Nature Made® brand, the leading national vitamin and supplement broadline brand, and FoodState, a certified B Corporation and the owner of the MegaFood® brand, which is focused on creating nutrient-rich, planet-first vitamins and minerals.
