HealthEdge Strengthens Executive Team with Appointment of Craig Wilson to Executive Vice President and General Counsel

HealthEdge Software, Inc.® (“HealthEdge”), provider of the industry’s leading integrated financial, administrative and clinical platform for health insurers, HealthRules® Payor, today announced that Craig Wilson has joined the company as executive vice president and general counsel. Wilson brings to HealthEdge deep expertise in leading his teams through strategic transactions, business development, M&A, and corporate governance.

With more than 25 years of experience in the legal field, Wilson has worked as a senior business executive, general counsel, corporate counsel, and prior to moving to an inhouse role, worked in private practice as a commercial litigator. He has deep experience in leading legal departments and using his industry knowledge to develop business strategies that have enabled companies to succeed in ever-changing and dynamic environments.

Prior to joining HealthEdge, Wilson served as General Counsel of Envision Healthcare Corporation, a national healthcare company and hospital-based medical group for ten years, where he filled a role as the key legal advisor on major business transactions. Guided by his passion about the company’s mission to save lives, he oversaw a department of 30 people and was responsible for leading the legal function of the company. He is a Member of the American Health Lawyers Association. He earned a Juris Doctor at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Political Science at William Jewell College.
