Insurance Industry Veteran named President of Exdion’s Insurance Operations

Exdion Solutions, a leading developer of commercial insurance policy management and data analytics software, announced that S. Steven Salar has been named the President and Head of Insurance Operations.

With more than 30 years of experience in commercial and personal lines in property & casualty insurance, Salar will manage Exdion’s North American business.

“I’m looking forward to working with the Exdion team and the new product offerings planned for the coming year,” Salar said.

Exdion markets its policy management and data analytics software to the largest insurance brokerage firms.

Salar’s insurance experience includes key roles at QBE North America and the AIG companies. He also owned the Steven Salar Agency, LLC. He has worked with personal lines carriers State Farm, Farmers Insurance, and the Countrywide Insurance Group. He has experience as a producer, compliance manager, operations executive, technology consultant, and a risk manager.

In 2021, Exdion Solutions introduced Exdion Policy Check which substantially reduces manual policy checking time and significantly increases accuracy and cost reductions, and as a result employee productivity improves considerably. Exdion Policy Check has received three major industry innovation awards. It services some of the most successful global insurance businesses, and counts among its clients three of the five largest brokerage firms.

Earlier this year, as part of its Exdion Edge suite of products, Exdion rolled out a new version of Quote Compare which automates the data collection and analysis of carrier quotes for its brokerage clients. Its data analytics software facilitates the quick evaluation of 57 critical multi-carrier quotation data points using its Exdion Extract proprietary software. Exdion also provides consulting services that assist brokerage firms to automate and customize policy management processes.
