SBLI Launches Mobile E-Ticket with IXN Focused on Accelerated Underwritten Life Products

SBLI (The Savings Bank Mutual Life Insurance Company of Massachusetts) today announced its launch of a mobile and web e-ticket platform with IXN®, the leading provider of cross-platform digital quoting solutions for the life insurance industry. “The IXN platform is the perfect vehicle for SBLI’s industry-leading products,” said Denis Clifford, Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer at SBLI. “SBLI’s Accelerated Underwriting is now a seamless digital process from start to finish on the IXN platform. No in-person medical exam or fluid collection is required for all risk classes and up to $750,000 of coverage. Rather, a telemed interview is conducted to complete an application, which can be signed electronically by the client. Clients are then able to accept and pay for the policy entirely online.”

“IXN’s vision to provide agents and advisors with innovative tools to run their businesses from anywhere is realized again with this partnership. We are excited to see this digital solution impact sales velocity and efficiency for distribution agencies, while maintaining their internal workflows,” said Kevin Pohmer, Chief Executive Officer of IXN.

In a marketplace where stressed technologies and processes still exist, this innovative partnership provides an unsurpassed digital experience for agents and advisors to more effectively distribute life insurance in this unique environment that demands fully digital workflows. The unique structure of the SBLI/IXN e-ticket partnership allows it to be quickly embedded into an agency’s workflow, greatly enhancing the agent/customer experience.
