The key hires will help to drive business growth and to bring greater efficiency, conversion rates, and cost savings to merchants across the world.

Founded in 2016, APEXX combines acquirers, gateways, shopping carts and Alternative Payments Methods into a single API connection. Its platform is partner-agnostic, transparent and integrated to provide a ‘one-stop solution’ for merchants.

Lucy brings a wealth of experience from the financial and technology industries having held roles at Finastra, the financial software solutions company, and Sage Plc, the enterprise software company where she looked after major payment partners including PayPal, FIS, MasterCard, and Visa. Lucy also supported the global implementation of SAAS payment technology across Sage’s accountancy products and helped drive the sale of its UKI payments business Opayo (formerly Sage Pay) to Elavon (a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp).

Jan is a travel and payments veteran with over 20 years’ experience across the global business travel and payments sectors. He has considerable experience in streamlining customer processes and maximising user experience. Prior to joining APEXX, Jan held roles at Unzer, the German payments provider, where he bolstered innovative payments solutions for the mobility and travel industry, and Wirecard, where he led the Travel & Mobility sales team for over ten years. He has also held several roles at American Express.

Welcome to the team!”
