Cresset Hires Randy Conte as Chief Operating Officer of Cresset Asset Management

Conte brings extensive leadership experience in the financial services industry, with previous roles as President of Parkway Bank and Trust, and COO / CFO of MB Financial Bank.

Cresset Asset Management  announced today that Randall “Randy” Conte has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his role, Conte oversees all client service, technology and operations, information and systems technology, HR, trading, and reporting.

Cresset Asset Management is an SEC registered investment advisor that offers individuals and families access to a comprehensive suite of family office services, deeply personalized wealth management, investment advisory, and goals-based planning. Since its founding three years ago, Cresset has grown to $9.8 billion in assets under management, making it one of the 25 largest RIAs in the nation.1

Prior to Cresset, Conte was President of Parkway Bank and Trust and Parkway Bancorp, a $2.7 billion2 community bank headquartered in Harwood Heights, Illinois, focused on commercial real estate lending. Previous to that role he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer of MB Financial Bank, a $20 billion3 publicly traded commercial bank that was headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, prior to being acquired by Fifth Third. Conte served as the co-head of all acquisition integration efforts for MB Financial Bank.

Conte is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He lives in Hinsdale, Illinois, with his wife, Cheryl.
