Five Degrees Appoints Reza Warnink as new CCO

Five Degrees is delighted to announce the appointment of Reza Warnink as its new Chief Commercial Officer. Former Mendix and Backbase executive Reza Warnink joins Five Degrees to accelerate the company’s commercial activities. The core banking provider plans on expanding the commercial team towards the launch of its new cloud native platform in 2021.

Warnink will focus his twenty years of leadership experience across enterprise software service providers to identify and drive Five Degrees’ commercial agenda. Based in the Amsterdam office of Five Degrees, Warnink will be responsible for the company’s sales-, marketing- and customer success teams. Warnink will focus on extending the growth ambitions of Five Degrees as the company is launching a new cloud native core banking platform in 2021. The news of the appointment of the CCO follows Five Degrees’ announcement of a successful funding round of €22 million in December 2020.

Before joining Five Degrees, Warnink held several senior management positions across different innovative software companies, including Senior Vice President EMEA & APAC at Mendix, global leader in enterprise low-code technology. Warnink also held the position of Senior Vice President at Backbase, that provides an omni-channel platform for the banking industry.
