Sahota will be tasked with building alliances for NMI’s ecosystem partners and other fintech market leaders
NMI, a leading payments enablement technology company, announced the appointment of Jagdeep Sahota to the role of Vice President of Strategic Alliances. In his role, Sahota will be tasked with establishing new alliances and enhancing NMI’s relationships with existing ecosystem partners and commerce marketplaces to drive growth.

Sahota brings nearly two decades of payments and fintech experience to this position. Most recently, he served as Senior Director, Strategic Product Partnerships for Salesforce where he was responsible for building partnerships for Salesforce Industries’ financial services and health cloud to extend the reach of its product and build customer-centric applications. He has also served in leadership and partner-driven roles with JPMorgan Chase, Visa, and PayPal where he leveraged his core strengths around payments innovation, payment systems knowledge, and relationship development and management. Sahota also holds 23 global patents and application filings.
At NMI, Sahota will establish and nurture top-tier ecosystem partners, allowing the company to provide customers with exciting new capabilities and options in the global marketplace. With a deep understanding of the technical and business side of payments, and a customer-centric approach to problems, Sahota will guide NMI into new markets and geographies through strategic alliances. Finally, Sahota will leverage his 18 years of experience to forge and strengthen relationships with payment networks, processors, add-on vendors and tech companies entering payments.
