Mark Lohweber Takes Over As CEO Of CoCoNet

Monolith Enlists First Direct and Egg Founder Mike Harris as Chairman

From the 1st of February 2021 Mark Lohweber takes over the reins as CEO at CoCoNet, a leading provider of digital solutions in corporate banking.

Mark Lohweber will lead the board of directors, which also consists of Björn Hassing und Axel B. Wiethoff. His vision is to roll out growth strategies and to push strategic sales.

With Mark Lohweber CoCoNet gains a successful expert in the digitalisation of banks. Before taking on this new role, Mark Lohweber led the entire banking business unit at adesso, where he was responsible for numerous digitalisation projects over the last 13 years. The trained banker and law school graduate started his career at Deutsche Bank and also previously worked at CoCoNet prior to his time at adesso. During that time he excelled at presenting CoCoNet’s expertise to customers that CoCoNet still counts amongst its customer base today.

As CEO Mark Lohweber complements CoCoNet’s management team with the existing members Björn Hassing and Axel B. Wiethoff. He will be responsible for strategy, consulting, marketing and sales activities at CoCoNet. Axel B. Wiethoff as CFO and COO is responsible for finance and operations while Björn Hassing as CTO heads innovation and product development.
