10 key trends for the upcoming decades of entrepreneurship:

  • Companies of the future will have no full-time employees outside the C-suite. Companies will outsource all non-core functions, from HR to marketing to admin.

    1. Clinics will have no front desk, as appointment bookings will happen online before the patient steps into the clinic.

    2. In 10 years everyone could be a business person in one form or another. Perhaps the silver lining of 2020 is the birth of more entrepreneurs offering solutions to problems created by the pandemic.

  • Checking on mental health becomes necessary for business to run well. There’s been a steep rise of acceptance on mental health not just in the public but within businesses.

    1. Companies will give out university-level credentials that will be universally recognised. As the traditional campus experience is disintegrated with the rise of Zoom learning, the very existence of higher education will be questioned.

  • Debt crowdfunding will be the most common way to finance new businesses. SMEs usually fail to meet the credit criteria of traditional financial institutions so are looking for alternative solutions.

  • 40 million new users have come online and now they reward champions of good service and punish the complacent brands.

  1. Customers will abandon e-commerce in favor of on-demand deliveries of under 30 minutes. Everything from food delivery to large-scale goods will utilize the logistic networks being created right now.

  2. In 5 years, every second business everywhere will be international. Trading internationally is not only easy – it’s the surest way for a small company to grow.

  3. All e-commerce brands will have an offline presence in 5 years. Companies will focus on omni-channel experience, innovative service and customer experience excellence.
