Paysafe Group’s Petroleum Card Services wins PMCA of Kansas’ Associate of the Year award

Paysafe’s specialized petro payments provider honored at Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association of Kansas’ annual convention 

Paysafe Group (Paysafe), a leading specialized payment platform, today announced that Petroleum Card Services, the Group’s payment processing solutions provider for U.S. gas stations, won the ‘Associate of the Year’ award yesterday at the Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association (PMCA) of Kansas’ 2020 convention.  

Held at the Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Topeka, the awards ceremony capped the final day of the PMCA of Kansas’ 106thannual event, which ran from September 28thto 30th. The convention, dubbed ‘Shaping the Future of Kansas Energy and Convenience’, assembled the gas station and convenience store operators, petroleum distributors, and service providers whose business interests the PMCA of Kansas represents.

Petroleum Card Services, which has been a member of PMCA of Kansas since 2018, was honored with the ‘Associate of the Year’ award following its strong payments support to Kansas gas stations and convenience stores. The Paysafe company has worked collaboratively to provide Association members with unparalleled service and improved payment processing.

In addition, against the backdrop of the April 2021 deadline for fuel retailers to accept EMV chip card payments at the pump, Petroleum Card Services has facilitated members’ upgrading of their payment offerings to remain compliant. Beyond offering direct support over the last 12 months, Petroleum Card Services launched its EMV at the Pump Compliance Hub. This online resource provides gas stations and convenience stores in Kansas and across the U.S. with a comprehensive set of tools to shift to EMV, including an information center, FAQ, EMV news and related articles.
