Ryan Hires Holly Reed as Principal and Practice Leader of the U.S. Advocacy Services Practice

Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, announced that Holly Reed has joined the Firm as Principal and Practice Leader of the U.S. Advocacy Services practice, based in the Dallas, Texas office. Ms. Reed brings almost 30 years of proven experience in government affairs, public policy, community and government relations, and communications. Having held leadership positions at both a Fortune 500 publicly traded company and a Texas-based private company, she has successfully executed strategic public relations plans across local, state, national, and international audiences and has successfully built coalitions to increase support for these projects.

At Ryan, Ms. Reed will be responsible for leading the Advocacy Services practice and representing the interests of Ryan’s clients and Ryan at all levels of government. She will lead and manage a nationwide team of service delivery advocates, attorneys, and internal and third-party lobbyists. Ms. Reed will develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to align Ryan’s government relations vision with overall business goals; develop public policy ideas and solutions in conjunction with Ryan’s executive leadership team; and monitor, analyze, and prepare Ryan stakeholders on regulatory and legislative issues affecting the Firm.

Ms. Reed holds leadership positions in numerous community organizations, including the Texas Association of Business, Texas Women’s Foundation Executive Leadership Council, Downtown Dallas Inc., Dallas Arboretum, and North Texas Commission, among others. She has been recognized by D Magazine’s “Dallas 500,” Dallas Business Journal’s “Women in Business,” Plano Chamber’s Executive of the Year, Presbyterian Communities in Service Each Moment Matters Award, and Altrusa International of Richardson Foundation’s Outstanding Women of Today…Builders of Tomorrow Award. Ms. Reed received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management from Texas A&M University.
