UniCredit Appoints New Head of Group Regulatory Affairs

UniCredit S.p.A announced the appointment of Adeline de Metz as Head of Group Regulatory Affairs and member of the Group’s Executive Management Committee.

Adeline, previously the Global Head of Working Capital Solutions in GTB, will take over the role from Guglielmo Zadra, who will be promoted to Head of Internal Audit from December 1st.

In her position, Adeline de Metz will lead Group Regulatory Affairs defining the Group regulatory strategy and managing relations with the European Central Bank, the Single Resolution Board, the Bank of Italy and other competent authorities. In her role she will report to Wouter Devriendt Head of Finance & Control.

Wouter Devriendt, Head of Finance & Control said: “I would like to congratulate Adeline for her appointment. Adeline has a distinguished international career in Corporate and Investment Banking and will bring in depth experience and senior leadership to her new role.”

Adeline de Metz has joined UniCredit in 2012 as senior banker in the Paris office before moving to Milan as Global Head of Working Capital Solutions responsible for developing and implementing the product strategy and for steering commercial activities across the Group. She is member of the Supervisory Board of UniCredit Hungary.
