Compliance Week Honors Carrie Penman With Its Inaugural Lifetime Achievement in Compliance Award

As part of the publication’s Excellence in Compliance Awards program, the Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes longtime practitioners that have upheld the core principles of ethics and leadership throughout their career.

With more than 25 years’ experience – starting her ethics and compliance career as the first Director of Corporate Ethics at Westinghouse – Carrie has consistently led the profession with both common-sense and innovative ideas for how compliance can enhance business performance. At NAVEX Global, she is responsible for the full range of internal risk and compliance programs. This includes a leading role on the Emergency Management Team, which was most recently mobilized to implement the company’s business continuity plan in response to COVID-19. In addition, she is a valued contributor to NAVEX Global’s Sales, Marketing, Services and Product teams.

Carrie also serves as an advisor to many of the world’s largest organizations, helping them assess and improve their risk and compliance programs.
