NXTsoft’s Omni division that has long been the market leader in API connectivity between financial institutions and Fintech companies, worked internally with the company’s ThreatAdvice division, which focuses on cybersecurity solutions, to develop the secure API monitoring solution.

OmniAlert provides a monthly review of all activity logged by the OmniConnect API and the ThreatAdvice Security Information and Event Management system (SIEM). NXTsoft’s advanced technology monitors for anomalies and suspicious activities and the state-of-the-art technology is complemented with a 24/7, US-based, Security Operation Center (SOC) to ensure that customers experience safer networks, earlier detection of intrusion and relevant and specific threat intelligence.

After NXTsoft introduced the solution in August, over 500 of its customers elected to implement OmniAlert for additional security monitoring of their API connectivity.

“OmniAlert is an example where both sides of NXTsoft came together to collaborate on a solution that we believe is the gold standard in API security, providing an additional layer of security to our bank and credit union customers for the API connectivity that they depend on to keep their institutions operational,” said David Brasfield, CEO of NXTsoft.
