Ensight Launches ENSI: AI-Powered Sales Assistant for Life Insurance

Voice-enabled, AI quoting set to revolution internal desk productivity & agent based sales

Ensight is proud to announce the launch of “ENSI”, the life insurance sector’s first AI-powered sales platform designed to transform the way life insurance carrier and distributor sales teams, agents and financial advisors operate. ENSI addresses the most pressing challenges facing carriers and distributors, including scaling sales expertise, reducing proposal turnaround times, unleashing new levels of sales desk capacity, improving consistency in product recommendations, and accelerating onboarding for new staff.

ENSI leverages the Microsoft OpenAI platform to radically transform the illustration process at scale, enabling organizations to significantly increase the efficiency and scalability of internal sales desks and support resources, while empowering a whole new market of agents and financial advisors to quote more complex life solutions. The platform is trained to gather all necessary information for preparing Term Life, Guaranteed Universal Life (GUL) and Indexed Universal Life (IUL) proposals, answer insurance-specific questions, and even read emails or quote request forms to prepare presentations for review.

The ENSI platform is available 24/7 via both voice and chat, ensuring real-time support for advisors and sales teams. For instance, using a simple voice prompt, internal wholesalers, agents and advisors can rapidly illustrate multiple IUL products for a protection, income or accumulation design in seconds – reducing ‘time to quote’ by over 90% in some cases. When needed, ENSI can also seamlessly escalate agent case design requests to internal sales desk and wholesaling teams for additional support.

“Over the past year, we have invested heavily in the development of ENSI and have been conducting beta trials with several key partners,” said Brian Seidman, Ensight COO. “Built on Microsoft Azure’s OpenAI framework, ENSI uses the GPT model to process natural language inputs, mapping conversational prompts into formal quote requests for Term, GUL and IUL. We also plan to introduce VUL and Long Term Care (LTC) support in early 2026.”
