Wells Fargo Names Sean Passmore Head of Military Talent External Recruiting and Enterprise Military and Veteran Initiatives

Wells Fargo & Company announced that Sean Passmore will join the company as the new head of military talent external recruiting and enterprise military and veteran initiatives, responsible for developing national relationships with the military and veteran community and overseeing Wells Fargo’s Military Affairs Program, created in 2012. Passmore will officially start on May 11 and report to Indhira Arrington, head of Targeted Sourcing.

“Sean comes to Wells Fargo with exceptional experience as a 22.5 year veteran of the United States Army and through his work to support service members in their second career as they transition from the military,” said Arrington. “Our Military Affairs Program was created to provide military members, veterans, and their families with the resources they need to be successful. Sean will be a tremendous asset overseeing this program and building a stronger relationship with the military community at large on behalf of the company.”

Passmore joins Wells Fargo from Perfect Technician Academy (PTA), where he was the executive vice president of strategic initiatives and military affairs, responsible for leading the military engagement strategy and developed veteran recruiting, training and career placement programs. Prior to his role at PTA, he was the military hiring advisor for the United Services Automobile Association (USAA), where he led the corporate effort to recruit and hire veterans and military spouses, and represented USAA globally as a program spokesperson.

From 2010 to 2014, Passmore was a senior presidential communications officer in the White House Communications Agency, where he supported the President of the United States and led teams supporting presidential events around the world. Passmore graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., with a Master of Science in project management and is a certified Project Management Professional.
