Arch Insurance North America Deepens Commitment to Wholesale Partners with Leadership Appointments

Arch Insurance North America (Arch Insurance, Arch) announced a series of leadership and distribution appointments designed to strengthen its Wholesale platform and support long-term growth in the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market.

As part of these changes, Jason Conkin has been promoted to the new position of Division President – Wholesale Property & Casualty where he will lead underwriting and expansion of profitable growth initiatives for E&S lines. Mike Ward has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Head of E&S Casualty and will report to Conkin, as will Joe Morrello, Executive Vice President, Head of E&S Property.

Jared Stacey has also been named Senior Vice President, Head of Wholesale Distribution, reporting to Sue Srinivasan, Executive Vice President, Distribution. Stacey will be responsible for coordinating Wholesale distribution strategy, enhancing alignment with underwriting teams and delivering a more consistent experience for Wholesale partners.

“Unifying E&S Property and E&S Casualty under Jason, and appointing Jared as a dedicated Wholesale distribution leader, allows for stronger internal collaboration and demonstrates our commitment to growing our E&S business across market cycles with Wholesale producers,” said Brian First, President of Arch Insurance North America. “We are fortunate that Arch is a dynamic company with a deep bench of experienced leaders who are ready to step into new roles as we evolve.”

Additionally, Valerie Turpin, Division President – Property, has announced her retirement, effective July 1, after nearly eight years leading the Property business for Arch Insurance.

“On behalf of all of Arch, I want to thank Valerie for her transformative contributions to our business. She will be dearly missed and we wish her all the best in retirement,” added First.
