Cross-Switch Payment Technology Ghana Becomes An Enhanced Payment Service Provider With Bank Of Ghana Approval.

Cross Switch Ghana LTD has received permission from the Bank of Ghana to function as an Enhanced Payment Service Provider, Cross Switch International S.A.R.L. and Cross Switch Ghana LTD are happy to announce. The Bank of Ghana recently authorised Cross Switch Ghana LTD to function as an Enhanced Payment Service Provider (EPSP). Cross Switch Ghana, an EPSP, plans to use its technology and payment infrastructure to digitise merchant payments, collections, and disbursements for e-commerce, remittances, and financial inclusion.

Since the Bank of Ghana introduced the Payment Systems and Services Act (2019) and the National Payment Systems Strategic Plan (2019–2024) to establish an enabling regulatory environment that fosters effective payments, increases financial inclusion, and promotes financial innovations, the payments sector in Ghana has expanded. Mobile money and other payment methods have both experienced rapid growth at the same time. Tim Davis is the CEO of Cross Switch International S.A.R.L., a pan-African fintech with vast experience operating payment systems in emerging economies. It has created a cutting-edge payments platform (CS+) that is being used in various markets in addition to Africa. A number of African technology and payments companies have been purchased and founded by Cross Switch. All payment methods used in Africa are supported by its technology. allowing African and foreign merchants to send and receive money into and out of Africa as well as throughout the continent. Benin, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, and South Africa are among the countries where Cross Switch has founded and invested in businesses. With a concentration on Western Africa, it is rapidly expanding across Africa through new projects, partnerships, and acquisitions.
