Business Reporter: Bringing banking into the digital asset era

How blockchain, stablecoins and agentic banking are creating a new model for global financial infrastructure

In a video published on Business Reporter, Nathan McCauley, CEO & Co-Founder, Rachel Anderika, Head of Global Operations, Kevin Wysocki, Head of Policy and Boaz Avital, Head of Product at Anchorage Digital talk about how their company is helping institutions move towards a financial system built for a global, digital economy, using blockchain to make assets faster, more accessible and capable of settling around the clock. Anchorage Digital Bank, America’s first federally chartered digital asset bank, currently issues stablecoins for Tether, Ethena Labs, Western Union, OSL Group and Falcon Finance. As digital assets become established financial infrastructure, Anchorage Digital is extending its model into agentic banking too, enabling AI-based workflows to interact with financial systems. “Agentic banking is the bridge between those two worlds,” said Nathan McCauley, describing a system that connects autonomous software to real financial rails with trust and governance built in that handles execution and settlement.
