“Financial products should adapt to customers, not force customers to adapt to them.” – Sandeep Sachdeva, CEO of Vera

“After spending decades building and scaling credit card businesses, we saw a fundamental disconnect between how quickly consumers’ lives have changed and how financial products are designed to support those changes,” said Sandeep Sachdeva, CEO of Vera. “We built Vera on a single belief: financial products should adapt to customers, not force customers to adapt to them. Consumers’ spending habits, financial goals and priorities naturally evolve over time, yet many financial products are designed around a fixed structure. We saw an opportunity to create a more flexible experience that evolves alongside the customer and better reflects how people manage their financial lives today.”

Recognizing the fundamental disconnect between rapidly evolving consumer lifestyles and stagnant financial products, we introduce Vera World Mastercard that actively adapts to the customer.

“Every Charge Puts You In Charge™”

Vera delivers a responsive financial tool designed around ultimate customer control. The platform aims to ensure that users never have to choose between enticing rewards, modern technology, transparency, and simplicity.

  • A Dynamic Rewards Engine: Life changes constantly, and the Vera World Mastercard is designed to change with it, allowing customers to easily choose between three distinct rewards modes and switch them as their needs evolve, whether they are exploring new destinations one month or savoring moments at home the next. These include the Omni earning mode which enables customers to earn two points per dollar on all categories, the Nova mode which enables customers to earn three points per dollar on any Apple Pay or Google Pay transactions, and the Vita mode which enables customers to earn five points per dollar on curated categories. Customers can select the mode that aligns with their then-current priorities, making rewards more personal and relevant. Customers can change it anytime and is effective after next billing cycle.
  • Frictionless, Digital-First Protections & Control: The entire experience prioritizes clarity, featuring real-time visibility into spending, instant card controls, smart alerts, and a radically simple, transparent fee structure. The Vera World Mastercard will also be enabled with advanced security features including Mastercard ID Theft Protection™, Zero Liability Protection and Global Services for emergency assistance.

“On a legacy platform, a feature like switchable rewards is enormously hard to pull off. It touches so many different systems that it usually becomes a long, custom integration project,” said Shashank Mehrotra, President at Zeta. “Our platform is flexible by design, so the kind of innovation Vera wanted wasn’t a special case. It was something we could stand up and launch quickly. That’s how Vera went from idea to a live card in such a short time frame.”

Built by Industry Veterans, Designed for the Future

Vera Credit was founded by an executive team that has spent decades building, managing, and scaling credit products used by tens of millions of customers. They recognized that the industry finally possesses the technological ingredients to build a platform that serves the modern consumer without compromise.
