Dunham Named Finalist in the 2026 Wealthies Competition

Three finalist nods span marketing leadership, thought leadership, and estate planning advisor support

Dunham & Associates Investment Counsel, Inc. (Dunham), an investment firm built for independent financial advisors by a former advisor, has been named a finalist in three categories of the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards, now known more simply as The Wealthies. Presented by Wealth Management, an Informa business publication serving financial professionals, The Wealthies recognizes organizations and individuals that support financial advisor success through leadership, service, and innovation. The 12th annual program received a record 1,392 nominations from 508 companies in 2026. Taken together, the nominations highlight Dunham’s approach to advisor support through leadership, original content, and practical education.

We want to give advisors resources they can use to serve clients more effectively and build stronger relationships over time.

The selections, which span marketing leadership, thought leadership, and advisor support in estate planning, are as follows:

  • Salvatore M. Capizzi, CEPA, CBDA, EVP and chief sales and marketing officer — Chief Marketing Officer of the Year, Asset Managers
  • Adem Tumerkan, content editor at Dunham — Thought Leader of the Year, Asset Managers
  • Dunham’s Estate Planning Education Platform — Advisor Service and Support, Estate Planning

Capizzi has helped shape how the firm communicates its services and resources to the advisor community, while also writing and publishing timely perspectives for advisors and other readers. Tumerkan’s work advances Dunham’s broader thought leadership strategy by identifying emerging market, economic and planning themes before they become widely discussed, developing original perspectives and translating them into clear, useful content that helps advisors anticipate change and lead more informed client conversations.

Dunham’s Estate Planning Education Platform extends that strategy into practical advisor education. Through resources, including the Dunham Trust Masterclass Series, the platform helps advisors explain complex estate planning topics and bring those discussions into broader planning conversations with clients.

The nominations come during a period of continued growth for Dunham. As of June 8, 2026, the firm and its affiliate had surpassed $8 billion in combined assets under administration (AUA).

“These three finalist selections reflect where Dunham is headed and the work our team is doing every day to support independent financial advisors,” said Capizzi. “Whether we are sharing timely ideas, making complex topics easier to understand, or building practical educational tools, our focus remains the same: We want to give advisors resources they can use to serve clients more effectively and build stronger relationships over time.”

Winners will be announced September 10, 2026, at the Wealth Management Industry Awards ceremony in New York City. Executives from Dunham will be in attendance.
