Northwest Federal Credit Union (Northwest) is pleased to announce that Kelly Demers recently joined Northwest Financial Advisors as its new President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Following a nationwide search for a highly qualified candidate, Demers was selected to lead Northwest Financial Advisors and its sister companies, NW Insurance Agency and Northwest Title & Escrow, which collectively form NW Capital Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwest Federal Credit Union.
Demers is a seasoned wealth management leader and respected industry executive with nearly two decades of experience in financial services. Most recently, she served as Market Executive for the state of Alabama at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management (MLWM) where she led advisors, developed talent, and drove growth across the market. She has been highly successful in increasing AUM and in recruiting and retaining a strong team of financial advisors. Earlier in her career, she served as a private client advisor within Bank of America Private Bank, advising affluent clients on complex wealth planning needs.

Demers is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a former Army officer with Airborne qualifications. A committed community leader, she served on the Board of the Alabama Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet Women’s Board. She is also past chair of the Louisiana Women’s Exchange, has served as a board member of the West Point Society of Chicago, and has supported literacy initiatives through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
